A 40-year-old Pennsylvania woman who died with what appears to be measles-related complications also had ongoing lung problems, including asthma and COPD, according to the coroner’s office who handled the case. It would be the third measles-related death in Pennsylvania amid a surging outbreak of the virus. 693 cases had been confirmed so far this year in the state, with 99 in the last week alone.
