Police are investigating a possible link between the Brown University shooting which left two people dead, and the killing of an MIT professor at his home in the Boston suburb of Brookline. Nuno Loureiro was a world-renowned plasma physicist and fusion scientist who was director of the university’s Plasma Science and Fusion Center, according to MIT.
