On Day 17 of the Lindsay Clancy trial, the defense called one of its final witnesses to the stand. A hospital chaplain who met with Clancy on a weekly basis testified that a "persistent" male voice told the Massachusetts mother that if she failed to follow its commands, she and her children would not be safe.
